Inspired by our own experience and bolstered by market research that we undertook at the NEC bike show we have spent the intervening time researching and creating a unique ride planner designed especially for bikers. It has not been easy and our thanks go to Rod and all those who have helped with the development of the site. Whilst creating the ride planner we came to realise that the goal was not just to provide a ride planner but to provide a community that helps every rider get the best riding experience, the best way to achieve that was to create a site where knowledge and views of rides can be easily shared, we hope we have achieved this and the more you put in the more you get out. To kick start the reviews of the rides we purchased www.motorcycleroadsonline.com and incorporated the reviews into this site.

We have just produced the best rides motorcycle atlas in conjunction with Harper Collins as we are aware that despite the advance of mobile technologies the internet is hard to surf at 70mph or even a road junction. Also sometimes you just want to explore with a map.

The Best Rides is owned and operated by CC5 Ventures Ltd a company registered in the UK number 5616376. This website is a commercial venture. At the moment the site ride planner is free to users but the map images cost money to deliver, and the site takes time to administer, if we cannot cover our costs and make a good enough return through advertising and sponsorship, then we may have to charge a small subscription for the ride planner.
