South-East Eire
South East Ireland consists of five counties; Carlow, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford. With an intriguing mix of rolling countryside and coastal landscapes as well as being one of the sunniest parts of Ireland, the area is ideal for touring. At Wexford there is an impressive heritage town, with an award-winning quay front. The city of Kilkenny boasts many contemporary art galleries and good restaurants and food, and in contrast Tipperary is a land of tranquil countryside. At Waterford you can experience sunny beaches and shore fishing, as well as visiting many of the attractions connected with its glass-making traditions.
