The Isle of Man

Located some 60 miles off the Lancashire coast, The Isle of Man is a unique self-governing dependency with the oldest continuous parliament in the world; the Tynwald. For bikers of course, the Isle of Man means the annual TT races, which are held every year in May and June and which celebrate their centenary in 2007. There are other attractions, such as the bustling town of Douglas, or the living village of Cregneash, giving an insight into traditional Manx life. There is also Castle Rushen, one of the best preserved medieval castles in Britain
