The Isle of Mull
The tranquil Isle of Mull in the Inner Hebrides is a place to experience nature and wildlife and get away from the bustle of modern life. Accessible from the mainland by ferry on a regular basis, many of its attractions can be seen in a day visit. Tobermory on the coast is the main town and its brightly coloured frontages have often been filmed. The abundant wildlife includes golden eagles and puffins, and whales and dolphins are often seen in the surrounding waters. The island of Iona is only a short distance away and is another "must see" destination.
