Suffolk
With lovely countryside and an unspoilt coastline Suffolk is an excellent destination county. It has a number of attractions, such as Ipswich, with its vibrant waterfront area, packed with bars and cafes as well as other attractions. Elsewhere in the county there is Sutton Hoo, one of the most complete and important Anglo Saxon sites in the country. There are beautiful medieval villages such as Long Melford and Lavenham, both with large churches built out of the proceeds of the wool trade. The county is home to the famous Aldeburgh festival held every year.
