Warwickshire

Set in the very heart of England Warwickshire is famous as the birth county of William Shakespeare, so be sure to fight your way through the crowds to visit his home and all the associated memorabilia in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Other attractions in Stratford include the town itself, so please take a guided walk. Near Stratford are impressive stately homes, like Ragley Hall and Charlecote. At Coventry there is the magnificent cathedral, a twentieth century masterpiece that rose from the ashes of the firebombed original. Visit Warwick and see the castle, or visit the ruins of another at Kenilworth.
